The new Danger Angel album “Revolutia” is finished! Following up to their critically acclaimed debut, the band will release the new album early in 2013! The album was created under the supervision of legendary singer Jeff Scott Soto. While Soto took over the producer’s helm, all engineering and mastering were taken care of by John Ellis at the Prism Sound Studios in Boston, USA.
The new album will consist of fourteen new songs taking the band’s music to a whole new world of inspiration. Let’s see what the boys have to say:
Guitarist Ethan Snow says on the new album: ” This is a brand new start for us. After finishing up with the debut album we saw where it took us and we then knew what we had to do for the followup. The new songs will mark the Danger Angel sound once and for all and I believe that they will show people what we’re really all about. We are not just building up from the previous stuff. We are exploring new grounds with our music and while the previous album was a collection of songs both old and new, this is a totally fresh approach to what we have in mind for Danger Angel from now and on.“.
.
Drummer Tony V. says on the new album: ” The new album is what I call “home”. It’s where our heart is and it’s where our souls rejoice. It’s exactly what we wanted to do from the moment we got down to writing new songs. I think that people will absolutely get into it. We wanted to write about something that works for us but also for all the people that will listen to it. It’s about life today and life today is hard. So this will be a hard album, no doubt about it.”

Keyboardist AHAS on the new album: “I think that this new album will definitely tell the world of who we are as musicians. It should be a landmark for our sound and our music. There’s a lot of work, a lot of passion and a lot of effort put into the new songs and we can’t wait to watch them grow on the fans.We will start performing the new songs live very soon I think. While we are still some way off the finish line and the album release, we will definitely reveal some of them to the fans in our shows. And some we will keep as a surprise… “.

Singer M.T. says :” This is somehow very special to me. I wasn’t on the bill for the debut album and when I came into the band, everything was laid out for me. This time I’m in the process from scratch and while I love the old songs and have a very good time performing them live, the new songs are a part of me, a piece of my soul. I watch them grow and evolve and I watch them turn into complete pieces of music and it’s amazing! I really can’t wait to bring them out in the open and show them off!”

Bassist Rudy Rallis noted: ” The new album is fantastic! The songs are fresh, the music is different yet so familiar, the whole recording and rehearsing procedure is refreshing and revitalizing! I have a very strong feeling about the new songs and I think that they will have a great bounce with the fans. They speak for them, they speak for their everyday life and their problems and worries and that’s great because people will relate to them and identify themselves in them.”
